An Introductory Course in Children’s Ministry
This 8-week course is designed to equip Farsi-speaking believers who have a passion for children’s ministry. In it, they will grow in a Christ-like attitude toward children and gain practical skills in discipling children both in and out of the Sunday school classroom. Participants will be guided as they implement what they are learning in the context of their local churches.
This Course Includes
Teaching
Participants will learn from Scripture to view children as integral members of the body of Christ. They will leave the course with an array of practical tools which will aid them in evangelizing, disciplining, and protecting today’s children.
Mentoring
Experienced Sunday school teachers will spend one-on-one time with the participants, offering spiritual encouragement and practical advice related to the goals of the course.
Learning Activities
Participants will work together to generate materials and ideas which they can implement in their own ministry during and after the dates of the course.
8-Week Course
Starts Thursday, 20 April and ends on Sunday, 18 June.
Limited Size
This course is limited to 14 participants and is by invitation only. It is offered to those living in Germany and Greece. Participants must be currently serving in children’s ministry or be able to begin serving by the time the course begins.
Online and In-Person Components
The course begins with a 3-day in-person seminar (Thursday 20 April - Sunday 23 April).
The next six weeks will be conducted online. During these six weeks, sessions will be held 4 days a week.
The last 3 days will be held as a final in-person seminar (Friday 16 June - Sunday 18 June).
